God’s Disciples: A Motley Crew A Reflection on Matthew 9:35-10:4 by the Reverend Noel E. Bordador

By the time you are reading this, my father has come and gone for a visit. I haven’t seen him in almost a couple of years, and it was nice for him to visit. My father and I have been apart for more than half of my life, and when we do see each other, we both feel that due to time and distance, we have gone our separate ways. Because of this, we are so different from each other, and we seem to have different expectations of each other. What I turned out to be is probably what he did not expect. He wanted me to be a doctor, to have care and cure of physical bodies, and I turned out to be more interested in care and cure of souls. He wanted me to get married and have lots of children so he could have lots of grandchildren, but God did not will that marriage be my vocation. On the other hand, I also probably expected him to be a different kind of father than he was. He is a loving father, a good provider and protector of the family, but he also had many human foibles that perhaps irritated me, or annoyed me or made me ashamed. Because of these different expectations, for many years, we tried to change each other, to fashion each other into the kind of person we wanted each other to be. It was only within the last few years that we began to appreciate each other as the person we have come to be. For me, whatever quirks and imperfections my father had, I have come to realize and appreciate that he is the person that God called to be my father. This is the man. No one else. And it is this man, Pepe, as people fondly call him, in both his best and worst, who was called by God to give life to me, and to have a hand in raising me in the catholic Christian faith.

LGBT (or GLBT) is an initialism referring collectively to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. In use since the 1990s, the term "LGBT" is an adaptation of the initialism "LGB", which itself started replacing the phrase "gay community", which many within LGBT communities felt did not represent accurately all those to whom it referred. In modern usage, the term LGBT is intended to emphasize a diversity of "sexuality and gender identity-based cultures" and is sometimes used to refer to anyone who is non-heterosexual instead of exclusively to people who are homosexual, bisexual, or transgender. To recognize this inclusion, a popular variant adds the letter Q for those questioning their sexual identity (e.g., "LGBTQ" or "GLBTQ").

Republic of the Philippines SUPREME COURT Manila
SECOND DIVISION [G.R. No. 130148. December 15, 1997] JOSE BORDADOR and LYDIA BORDADOR, Petitioners, vs. BRIGIDA D. LUZ, ERNESTO M. LUZ and NARCISO DEGANOS, Respondents. D E C I S I O N REGALADO, J.:

Petitioners Jose D. Bordador and Lydia E. Bordador were engaged in the business of purchase and sale of jewelry and respondent Brigida D. Luz, also known as Aida D. Luz, was their regular customer. On several occasions during the period from April 27, 1987 to September 4, 1987, respondent Narciso Deganos, the brother of Brigida D. Luz, received several pieces of gold and jewelry from petitioners amounting to P382,816.00. These items and their prices were indicated in seventeen receipts covering the same. Eleven of the receipts stated that they were received for a certain Evelyn Aquino, a niece of Deganos, and the remaining six indicated that they were received for Brigida D. Luz.
Deganos was supposed to sell the items at a profit and thereafter remit the proceeds and return the unsold items to petitioners. Deganos remitted only the sum of P53,207.00. He neither paid the balance of the sales proceeds, nor did he return any unsold item to petitioners. By January 1990, the total of his unpaid account to petitioners, including interest, reached the sum of P725,463.98. Petitioners eventually filed a complaint in the barangay court against Deganos to recover said amount. chanroblesvirtualawlibrary
In the barangay proceedings, Brigida D. Luz, who was not impleaded in the case, appeared as a witness for Deganos and ultimately, she and her husband, together with Deganos, signed a compromise agreement with petitioners. In that compromise agreement, Deganos obligated himself to pay petitioners, on installment basis, the balance of his account plus interest thereon. However, he failed to comply with his aforestated undertakings. chanroblesvirtualawlibr

Dengue fever (pronounced UK: /ˈdɛŋɡeɪ/, US: /ˈdɛŋɡiː/) and dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) are acute febrile diseases transmitted by mosquitoes, which occur in the tropics, can be life-threatening, and are caused by four closely related virus serotypes of the genus Flavivirus, family Flaviviridae. It was identified and named in 1779. It is also known as breakbone fever, since it can be extremely painful. Unlike malaria, dengue is just as prevalent in the urban districts of its range as in rural areas. Each serotype is sufficiently different that there is no cross-protection and epidemics caused by multiple serotypes (hyperendemicity) can occur. Dengue is transmitted to humans by the Aedes (Stegomyia) aegypti or more rarely the Aedes albopictus mosquito. The mosquitoes that spread dengue usually bite at dusk and dawn but may bite at any time during the day, especially indoors, in shady areas, or when the weather is cloudy.

Dear Jennifer,

Like you, I suffered a lot, I was persecuted, I am jobless, and I chose to endure my sufferings, since I do not complain.

I am a great sinner, unlike all those around you, and I am the greatest hypocrite. THERE IS A TIME FOR EVERYTHING.

Do not be in a hurry, people will help you in the manner and way they want not when and how or why you desire.

First, if they want to help you, then, thank them.

Second, if they refuse you or fail you, then, like the apostles, ipagpag mo ang dumi at alikabok ng iyong sapatos, at God will do the rest.
Third, stand by your own, huwag kang umasa ng mana, as heredera, karapatan o ano pa.
Fourth, never ever come back to Calvario home never go there, since I Calvario, Meycauayan is cursed.

Fifth, as you said, your house is hell-fire, but You are loved by God, that is why, you are and now prevented from going there, and there is no peace in there for you, since you are just ampon, pulot and sold baby.

Eight, you were never loved. You were just bought and became a toy, not for us, but it is your destiny.
Thank them for all that they did for you. Live your life, stay in the streets and like, me you can beg.
Give me all your pains, and I will endure them ...

My weapon is TRUTH since I see the lights. Evil is afraid of truth, they are in darkness.

Remember that Christ promised us that the rich will never ever enter the kingdom of heaven.

Do not be afraid of jail or rehab, I am on your side, no matter what, Huwag ka lang makulet and you must follow my instructions:

Accept your sufferings, do not dare to accept any mana or right from your past family, since that is dirty for you ... hindi mo iyon pinaghirapan, at gusto mo pwersahan, if they give you, then thank them, and give them all to the poor.

Jenny,

People build traps for themselves, they know that.

Tempus fugit, ars longa vita brevis. As material girl, do not follow the footsteps of your past siblings, do it the way you should, do not follow what pastors and elders tell you, follow me, I am a prophet!

Notes:

“This child of mine was dead, and is alive; this child of mine was lost and is found.” (Luke 15:24)

Let me begin with a personal story. Earlier this year, I visited my family who live across the globe. One of the reasons for my visit has something to do with my youngest sixteen-year old sister. For a long time, my father has been almost begging me to come and help him look for my runaway sister. A combination of adolescent rebellion, bad company, drugs, among other things, were the cause of this. Yes, it happens to a good Christian family, too. My father and I found her living in her squalor. The feeling that my father and I had over this reunion was and is indescribable, to say the least.

I now know what that father in the Gospel story in Luke 15:11-32 meant when he said, “This child of mine was dead, and is alive; this child of mine was lost and is found.” Later, I asked my father whether he was also angry with my sister for the pain she might have caused the family. My father said to me, “Yes, but what she does not need right now is judgment or my condemnation. My judgment might only destroy her. Only love and compassion will keep the door open for her to come back when and if she decides to come back. I believe that only love might be able to save her.”

The Episcopal Church is the Province of the Anglican Communion in the United States and most other territories where it has a presence (excluding Europe). In keeping with Anglican tradition and theology, the Episcopal Church considers itself "Protestant, yet Catholic".[5] In 2009, the Episcopal Church had a baptized membership of 2,175,616 both inside and outside the U.S. In the United States, it had a baptized membership of 2,006,343, making it the nation's fifteenth largest denomination.

Bolinao, Pangasinan - Patar Beach

Patar Beach is surrounded by different hotels, it is not really easy to hunt for a good one because of the long travel, however, Hotelscombined.com can help you search over 30 hotel reservation websites at the same time and locate the one that offers the best deal instantly! But to give you a hint of how to go there, well, Bolinao is a 3-4 hour drive from Dagupan.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolinao,_Pangasinan

http://www.wayph.com/patar-beach-bolinao-pangasinan/

Considered as a hidden treasure of Bolinao, Patar beach is a gem for the beach bums and the nature lovers as well. Though its sand may not be as pure white and refined as that of Boracay’s, its clear aquamarine waters and unspoiled surroundings are as inviting as any of the top beaches in the country. For travelers who constantly avoid crowded and over-developed beaches, the Patar beach of Bolinao is the best fit.

Patar Beach in Bolinao, Pangasinan is actually one of the more popular beaches in Pangasinan, with a good number of resorts in the area. It's very picturesque with strong blue waves lashing at the cream sand along the shore. The white beach in Barangay Patar is a scenic spot ideal for tourism purposes.

Bolinao is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. According to the latest census, it has a population of 69,568 people in 12,182 households.

On November 18, 2007, Bolinao challenged the historical fact that the first Mass was held on March 31, 1521, Easter Sunday, at Limasawa in Southern Leyte. Memorial markers (donated by Italian priest Luigi Malamocco, 62, from Odorico’s hometown of Friuli, Italy) were set in the town’s church and on Santiago Island, claiming that in 1324, Franciscan missionaries led by an Italian priest named Odorico celebrated a thanksgiving Mass thereat and also baptized natives.

Reputedly one of the oldest churches in the Philippines built in 1575 using forced labor. Antique relief statues of saints, which were brought by the Spaniards, are preserved in this church. Its belfry houses four small bells and one big bell – which are probably the oldest in the country. The rooftop of the church offers an obstructed but nonetheless, breathtaking view of Mt. Banahaw and Laguna de Bay.

Power and Glory of First Lady of Bolinao's true love, Alfonso Celeste ....

Hard coal spill
By Yolanda Sotelo-Fuertes
Philippine Daily Inquirer
First Posted 01:17:00 01/13/2008

Bolinao Mayor Alfonso Celeste said the local government will file damage suit against Indonesian owners of the barge APOL 3003. The University of the Philippines Marine Science Institute (UPMSI) stated that the environmental damage was P 54.9 million ($1 =- P 40). The barge towed by a tug boat from Indonesia to the power plant in Sual, Pangasinan on November 27 when Typhoon “Mina” winds destroyed its anchor and rope, then hurled to Ilog Malino reef, spilling 95% of its coal cargo. The hard coal spill spread to 330,000 square metres of coral and sea grass areas.

New fish kill brings back stench in Bolinao
By Yolanda Sotelo
Inquirer Northern Luzon
First Posted 21:16:00 06/24/2010

The almost unbearable stench that greeted boat men sailing toward the Kakiputan Channel here served as a grim warning of what lay ahead. Since last weekend, residents have been witnessing thousands of bangus (milkfish) and other marine life floating dead in the murky water.

It’s 2002 once again for this town and neighboring Anda, which now face a new fish kill disaster that imperils the local economy. 2002 was the year when the bangus industry was wiped out and losses were estimated to have reached P400 million. A fish kill of smaller proportion occurred in 2007. The current scourge is far smaller in scale, although initial estimates of damage have been pegged at P50 million in Bolinao alone.

BOLINAO – This premier tourism town turned into a “ghost town” after the devastation wrought by typhoon Emong which felled electrical power and communication lines and plunging the town into darkness.

Fear, Hypocrisy, Prostate Cancer, Alzheimer's Disease & Skin Asthma

Hypocrisy is the state of pretending to have beliefs, opinions, virtues, feelings, qualities, or standards that one does not actually have. Hypocrisy involves the deception of others and is thus a kind of lie. Hypocrisy is not simply failing to practice those virtues that one preaches. Samuel Johnson made this point when he wrote about the misuse of the charge of "hypocrisy" in Rambler No. 14:

Nothing is more unjust, however common, than to charge with hypocrisy him that expresses zeal for those virtues which he neglects to practice; since he may be sincerely convinced of the advantages of conquering his passions, without having yet obtained the victory, as a man may be confident of the advantages of a voyage, or a journey, without having courage or industry to undertake it, and may honestly recommend to others, those attempts which he neglects himself. Thus, an alcoholic's advocating temperance, for example, would not be considered an act of hypocrisy so long as the alcoholic made no pretense of constant sobriety.

The Bordadors, Estrellas, Celestes and Dazos are real people who live in a real and perfect world surrounded by psychotic, lame, dumb, deaf, blind and infamous idiots, including savants ...

Fear is an emotional response to a perceived threat. It is a basic survival mechanism occurring in response to a specific stimulus, such as pain or the threat of danger. Some psychologists such as John B. Watson, Robert Plutchik, and Paul Ekman have suggested that fear belongs to a small set of basic or innate emotions. This set also includes such emotions as joy, sadness, and anger. Fear should be distinguished from the related emotional state of anxiety, which typically occurs without any external threat. Additionally, fear is related to the specific behaviors of escape and avoidance, whereas anxiety is the result of threats which are perceived to be uncontrollable or unavoidable. Worth noting is that fear almost always relates to future events, such as worsening of a situation, or continuation of a situation that is unacceptable. Fear could also be an instant reaction to something presently happening.

As perfect human beings, the Bordadors, Estrellas, Celestes and Dazos are super human beings that never ever entertained fear in their own bodies. They do not eat and munch fear. But fear only surrounds-sounds their inner sanctum.

PET scan of a human brain with Alzheimer's disease

Alzheimer's disease (AD) —also called Alzheimer disease, senile dementia of the Alzheimer type (SDAT), primary degenerative dementia of the Alzheimer's type (PDDAT), or Alzheimer's—is the most common form of dementia. This incurable, degenerative, and terminal disease was first described by German psychiatrist and neuropathologist Alois Alzheimer in 1906 and was named after him. Most often, it is diagnosed in people over 65 years of age, although the less-prevalent early-onset Alzheimer's can occur much earlier. In 2006, there were 26.6 million sufferers worldwide. Alzheimer's is predicted to affect 1 in 85 people globally by 2050.

Chito Cordero, brother of deceased Pastor Boy Cordero, neighbor of the Bordadors, visited Calvario, Meycauayan, Bulacan about January 2010. He said that Rosie Dazo Bordador and husband Giliw Fhey Paez were suffering end state, the dreaded Alzheimer's and prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is a form of cancer that develops in the prostate, a gland in the male reproductive system. Most prostate cancers are slow growing; however, there are cases of aggressive prostate cancers. The cancer cells may metastasize (spread) from the prostate to other parts of the body, particularly the bones and lymph nodes. Prostate cancer may cause pain, difficulty in urinating, problems during sexual intercourse, or erectile dysfunction. Other symptoms can potentially develop during later stages of the disease.

Skin asthma is a lay term used for atopic dermatitis, particularly eczema. Although the term asthma is more appropriately used to refer to a disease of the respiratory system, it is easy to lump together atopic dermatitis and bronchial asthma because of their common cause — a hypersensitive immune system reacting to trigger factors. In the former, it is the skin that is problematic; in the latter, it’s the respiratory system. It is common for those with atopic dermatitis to have bronchial asthma as well. Atopic dermatitis is caused by trigger factors, usually food, damp environments, or irritating chemicals. The skin becomes red, sometimes has blisters, or oozes with clear fluid. If present for a long period of time, the skin can appear dry, thick, and scaly. It can occur anywhere on the body; and whether acute or chronic, the skin is very itchy. Scratched or blistered skin might be an entry point for infection. Skin asthma is not a communicable disease.

Atopic dermatitis (AD; a type of eczema) is an inflammatory, chronically relapsing, non-contagious and pruritic skin disorder. It has been given names like "prurigo Besnier," "neurodermitis," "endogenous eczema," "flexural eczema," "infantile eczema," and "prurigo diathsique".

Noselift of Dra. Nieves

Noselift or Rhinoplasty (Greek: Rhinos, "Nose" + Plassein, "to shape") is a surgical procedure which is usually performed by either an otolaryngologist (head and neck surgeon), maxillofacial surgeon, or plastic surgeon in order to improve the function (reconstructive surgery) or the appearance (cosmetic surgery) of a human nose. Rhinoplasty is also commonly called "nose reshaping" or "nose job". Rhinoplasty can be performed to meet aesthetic goals or for reconstructive purposes to correct trauma, birth defects or breathing problems. Rhinoplasty can be combined with other surgical procedures such as chin augmentation to enhance the aesthetic results.
was done for Dra. Maria Nieves Bordador about 1999, hence, her beauty was enhanced to be very glaring and sunshine.
